    On the occasion of the upcoming 2024 Spring Festival, the Unity of Nature and Mankind – “Aerospace and Antarctica” Photography Art Exhibition Welcoming the Spring Festival sponsored by the Boao Forum for Asia and the Chinese Cultural Figures Magazine and organized by the International Department of Chinese Cultural Figures Magazine was held in Beijing on January 16.

    Introduction
    The universe only has one earth and humans have a common home. “Chinese people know how precious the peace is. We are willing to promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind and create a better world by focusing on the future of humans and the well-being of the people together with the international community.” This is the New Year greeting of 2024 of Chairman Xi Jinping on New Year’s Eve. Today, the future and destiny of countries around the world are closely linked. The improvement of cultural exchange and mutual learning is an important way to bridge the gap, clear up misunderstandings, and make people know each other. The Spring Festival is coming. The Boao Forum for Asia and the Chinese Cultural Figure Magazine sponsored “The Unity of Nature and Mankind-‘Aerospace and Antarctica’ Photography Art Exhibition Welcoming the Spring Festival”. In this exhibition, photos taken at the Chinese space station by Liu Yang, the first female astronaut in China, deputy to the National People’s Congress, a hero astronaut, and the public welfare image ambassador of aerospace in China, and photos taken in Antarctica by Wang Baosheng, President of the Chinese Cultural Figure Magazine and Part-time Professor of International Sinological Research Center of Shandong University, were exhibited. These photography works vividly explain the core principles of building a community with a shared future for mankind with simple emotions and flexible language of light and shadow, Build an open, inclusive, clean, and beautiful world that is peaceful for a long time and safe for all with common prosperity.

    She was born in 1978, enlisted in August 1997, recognized as a National Outstanding Communist Party Member, representative of the 12th and 14th National People's Congress, and Part-time Vice Chairperson of the 11th and 12th National Women's Federation, and holds the Senior Colonel and Ph.D. from Tsinghua University.
    In May 2010, she was selected as one of China's second group of astronauts. In June 2012, she became China's first female astronaut to enter space, undertaking the manned spaceflight mission of Shenzhou 9 with two companions. In October of the same year, she was awarded the honorary title of "Heroic Astronaut" by the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission, and received the "Third-class Aerospace Meritorious Service Award." In 2014, she studied at the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University. In 2018, she was awarded a Doctorate in Law.
    In April 2020, Liu Yang was appointed as the "China’s Space Image Ambassadors" by the China National Space Administration.
    In June 2022, after a decade, Liu Yang returned to space, participating in the manned flight mission of Shenzhou 14, staying in orbit for 183 days. She led the rendezvous and docking of the "Wentian," "Mengtian," and "Tianhe" modules, forming a complete configuration of three modules and two spacecraft in space for the first time. She conducted extravehicular tasks using the airlock for the first time, initiated the "Tiangong Classroom," and engaged in dialogues with ASEAN youth and students. On November 29, 2022, Liu Yang and five companions successfully rendezvoused at the Chinese space station, completing the construction task. On December 4, 2022, Liu Yang and two companions completed the most complex, challenging, and labor-intensive task since the construction of the space station, triumphantly returning.
    In March 2023, she was awarded the "Second-class Aerospace Meritorious Service Award" by the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission.

    Wang Baosheng:President of Chinese Cultural Figures magazine, adjunct professor at International Sinology Research Center, Shandong University.

    He was director of the News Center of the Propaganda Department of a submarine base of the PLAN, and he worked in Jinan Military Region for Before the Guardian and PLA Daily. He has worked in photojournalism for more than 30 years, joining many major news reports at home and abroad, filming important visits by state leaders and visits to China by foreign leaders, and taking portraits of state leaders, army generals, scientists, artists, and entrepreneurs. In 2008, he edited and shot the fine photo album Style of Representatives and Members of the Two Sessions of the Republic of China. In 2013, he edited and shot the fine art album People’s Artists (published by Central Literary Publishing House). In 2014, he edited and shot the fine album Painted Silk Road: Large-scale Cultural Exchange Activities of Famous Contemporary Chinese Artists Covering 10,000 Miles along the Silk Road (sponsored by Ministry of Culture, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, published by the Central Literary Publishing House). He has published tens of thousands of photojournalism works in China News Service, Xinhua News Agency, People’s Daily, PLA Daily, Guangming Daily, China Youth Daily, and other major national and overseas media. And his works have won him many awards. In 1992, his photography Pointing the River and Mountains won the international Gold Medal. As a journalist with a sense of historical responsibility and mission of the times, Wang acts actively in building China into a strong cultural country and promoting traditional culture, trying his best to spread Chinese culture and art to the world. In recent years, he has given full play to the strong influence of Chinese Cultural Figures magazine at home and abroad, in authoritative, objective and impartial approach, using news, special issues, special issues, publications, the Internet and other multimedia means to present to the world representative artists in the cultural and art circles of China. In recent years, he has partnered with Boao Forum for Asia to launch a series of cultural and artistic exchange events, including: Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2021 Cultural Roundtable; Women’s Roundtable at Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2021; Cultural Roundtable at Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2023; Women’s Roundtable at Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2023; 20 Chinese Cultural Figures in Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Boao Forum for Asia; and Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative: 2023 Boao Forum for Asia Cultural Figures Art Exhibition. Active in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, he has made positive contributions to promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations.
